Zebras held no fascination for me until I got to this gorgeous spot in the world - the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It really is an incredible experience to see so many moving black and white stripes everywhere. While zebra patterns stand out in the gold-green grass and clear blue sky in the Crater, in this lake zebras finally matched their surroundings.

technical details: This image was taken before sunrise in a moving jeep in low-light conditions. Cropped, sharpened and resized for the web.

Very nice picture with lovely reflections in the water. Maybe a bit more of sharpness would be useful. But very good job indeed. Well done!

A wonderful capture of these zebras and their setting, Tish!

I especially like the B&W effect, which is broken only by the sky and its reflections, and the vertical and horizontal stripes make quite an artistic creation as well.
