Quite an extraordinary photograph. Lighting isn't perfect, and the composition is less than perfect, but it is such an interesting scene that none of that matters.

That is a very cute picture, Cody.
What a line-up. That is a lot of zebras in a row.
It must have been a thrill to see such a sight.
Well seen and well captured.
TFS. : )

Hello Cody,
Nicely captured and funny too!
But the reason why they do it like this is dead serious, as it is much easier for predators to attack and kill a single animal!

Hello Cody,
This shot is both amusing and interesting. An excellent behaviour study that poses some questions.

Both the shot and the behaviour of the zebras are quite amazing! What an opportunity to see this! A real study of camouflage and solidarity of a species.

You made a original and funny shot. It is strange this line of Zebras. Perhaps they are like human at the beach ;-)
Congratulations Cody and TFS.

bonjour cody,
votre cliché est surprenant & original. Cela fait penser à de nombreuses photos de publicité.
ce que j'aime particulièrement est la répétition des lignes, et l'idée.
ps: i post a workshop

Hi Cody,
Curious way to drink! Very well composed shot of a rare pose. Do they want to protect its flanks? If a predator attacks it will find kicks and bites,... except for the outers! In any case, it is like a zebra crossing!

Now thats a LOT OF ASS!!! Ten tails and counting, perfectly lined up, wonder what the reason was. Maybe together as one would freighten a possible crocodile threat, you think?

They must belong to a circus!! What an excellent find Cody, you couldn't have lined them up like this if you tried. Quite amazing, thank you for sharing...

Hi Cody,
Now I'm really curious as to why they were lining up like this, a Zebra Bridge, a Flood Barrier or just ganging up on the Croc's, whatever the reason was I love it, its just so amusing, well captured.

Very interesting scene for you to come upon. Good composition and exposure.
Did you try to cross the water by walking across the backs of the Zebra?

Hi!
I like this shot! I saw also the reposted one, but I prefer this one...
Maybe because here you see that there is plenty of space and so the position of the zebras seems more unnatural.

Great picture,
sometimes we can find amazing things in nature. To see so many zebras in one line showing their "back" to a photographer - just amazing

hello cody this i sindeed a most amazing sight. i must say i do not lke the cropped version that takes away the feeling of space and enhances perhaps the feel for the need of reciprocal protection of these animals . however at forst sight and forgetting about potential predators, it is a very amusing sight indeed
happy easter

Hi Cody,
This is a very original shot! It seems that the zebras wanted to search the river for every inch. I love the way you composed the shot using the rule of thirds. The colors are brilliant and well saturated and the details are very sharp. Well done! TFS!

Eddie
