Horia,

PS. Culorile par ireale!

Hello Horia,
Great and very beautiful photo of this salt lake. Excellent matching soft colours in a harmonious composition. Good DOF.

Have I missed your shots, Horia or did you stop posting?
Will check, bro!
For now, this shot reminds me of barrenness, yes, despite the water, the closest I can come to is comparing it to a woman who cannot bear a child...MOther Earth, without her children.
Whatever!!!
Love this shot, bro!
Take care!

Hi Horia!
A very unique subject you presented us this time. Sharp but smooth image achieved by good timing in the sunrise. Nice job, TFS!
Best regards,
Andor

What a fantastic landscape, Horia, the more you denude your scenes, the better composed they seem to get. It is perfect in every sense, the colours are soft and pastel, beautiful. I like the different layers of colours and textures going from the foreground to the end of the world... I mean, to the end of the frame with the blue moutains in the back. I can understand Star Wars used this as an out of this world planet.

Hi Horia,
I LOVE the soft colors in this image! I can see this as a poster in a doctor's office. It is so calming. Just lovely. I really like the meandering curves of the immediate foreground, the sweeping curve in the mid ground and the horizontals in the distance. Nice work.
I have a 17-85 Canon lens and at the wide end I always get a bit of lens distortion....about the same curve I see in those horizontal lines in your photo. Could that have caused the curvature or were they actually curved?

PS
I just visited your website. Some of those Tunisia shots are spectacular. WOW! They are very powerful.
Hi Horia
I remember this well - and crossed it in similar conditions. I really like the way you have captured the scene - it shows the space really well.

Hi Horia,
The light and emptyness gave this photo a very serene feel. I like it how you used the salt crust as a FG element. Is made the photo special. The pastel colors of the sand and sky match perfectly. The your use of the CP filter cut down the reflection nicely which creates an even better setting in the composition. The distortion has been mentioned and you know how to fix it.
TFS,
Niek
