Hello Bert,
Excellent shot of this Gorilla, well framed among the leaves. Great exposure (not always easy with black subjects), excellent details and colours. Nice work.
Could we have a note next time please? Just to tell us about the subject, where it was taken and how you took the shot etc.
Regards,
Adrian

very good portrait.
I never stay in front of this amazig creatures, but, perhaps, a touch of flash light should give it more life in his eyes.
if you can...

Bert,
I think you can be happy with this picture. The exposure is spot-on taking into account that it is a very dark subject and the light meter of your camera could have been confused. It is not clear what equipment you used, but I can imagine that you have compensated for the exposure value. The image is also very sharp taking into account that you had to shoot with a very slow shutter speed. Well done!
Regards
Anton.

Hello Bert
Nothing wrong with this shot, the lighting was the way it was and you did your best. Nice detail and composition. A beautiful Gorillia. TFS Janice

Hi Bert, I've been to Bwindi last year to met the gorilla.
It's a great experience.
I was really tired when reached them because of the long walk in the hot rainforest.
But once in a lifetime is a great thing.
Good shot, well exposed.
What kind of camera did you used?
And, it seems to be the Silverback, the family male, isn't?

Hi Bert,
Very close indeed, beautiful photo! Well framed in the green: The black looks a bit blue due to the shade.
Well done and TFS
