Nile crocodile skull,
This photo has nothing special but I just wanted to show how efficient these jaws can be !
The upper and lower jaws perfectly fit together
The nile crocodile has already been well documented by Peter van Zoest ,see his photo : http://www.treknature.com/gallery/photo189961.htm
Slide taken with a Nikon F4 at the lodge in Mwense on the Luapula river in July 1998
Reproduced with Slide Copying Adapter mounted on Nikon Bellow PB-6 |

Albert,
Interesting picture. Hopefully this crocodile died of 'natural' causes rather than being killed needlessly. Anyways, it would have been nice if you placed any ordinary object beside this skull - it would give a sense of scale as right now, it is hard to put a dimension on it (at least for a person who has never seen one in real life). At any rate, its an interesting shot, TFS.
Best Regards,
Martin
