We went to experience a "walk with lions" in Zimbabwe, just outside the tourist town Victoria Falls. This young male was not interested in walking at all.
I like what I did as far as aperture in concerned, but feel I should have filled the frame more. The shadow on the left of his face seems to lift him from the background.

Hello Oscar,
The photo is well composed in this format.
However, you could crop and make a tighter composition, if you shooted with enough resolution to do so.
The almost same color of the dry background dont help so much, so using a wider aperture would isolate better the subject.
The macrow's workshop is helpful in terms of tonal and color saturation.
Literaure says lions rest 20 hours a day, so its a matter of luck to catch them in some kind of activity.
Well done,
JM
