[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A close up of this beautiful bulb that was found on a burnt sandy flat on De Hoop nature reserve (look for the whole plant in my previous pictures). It was too dark, so I used flash. This is the closest I can get, 1:1 macro. The South african genus Lachenalis is large and difficult. Graham Dundan from Kisrtenbosch botanical garden in Capetown was kind enough to identify it for me.

What a nice photo composition. You have presented these amazing flowers perfectly. I like extreme DOF (and f-number), perfect flash work and great attractive details and sharpness of the flowers. My compliments and best wishes. It would be better to show what lens has been used.

Bonsoir Ori,
Malgré le flash, les couleurs semblent très naturelles, ce qui te permet de réaliser une très belle macro. Je préfère cette image à la précédente, trop contrastée à mon gout à cause du flash.
Cette espèce est beaucoup plus belle que les pauvres sujets que l'on présente en pot dans nos jardineries...

Hi Ori, this is really a beautiful, and contender for a poster, shot. Wonderful focus, exposure light and depth of colour with a perfect pov. You have out shone yourslf with this one. All nice and sharp with excellent detail. Good work.
