The Olive Baboon (Papio anubis), also called the Anubis Baboon, is a member of the family Cercopithecidae (Old World monkeys). The species is the most widely spread of all baboons: it is found in 25 countries throughout Africa, extending south from Mali to Ethiopia and to Tanzania. Isolated populations are also found in some mountainous regions of the Sahara. It inhabits savannahs, steppes, and forest areas.

Hello Stefan,

I like his expression "I have no shame", great POV and sharp image

Hi Stefan,

A little pornographic maybe ;-), but still a very nice shot.
Excellent sharpness and wonderful fur details.
As it comes to composition, I would love to have seen a little more space on the right hand side, the way the monkey is looking at.
TFS!!!

Best regards and I do wish you and yours a Happy Easter.

Harry

Hi Stefan,
I'm afraid this is a privacy invasion :-)
So good you were able to catch this baboon on his natural habitat, in that far country.
Well done and thanks for share.
My best regards,
JM

Hi Stefan.
Funny subject. The top part of a picture mismatches the bottom part. In any case, wonderful portrait work of high quality. Amazing reproduction of the face expression, fine hair and wonderful BG. Bravo and best wishes.
Alexei.

Hi Stev, splendid portrait of beautiful Baboon with great expression, fine details and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Stefan,
Is this a female or a male?:-)
There's not a lot of difference if you compare to a Chacma baboon.
Good sharpness.
TFS
