Taken at the Durban Aquarium.Jelly fish have tentacles that trail down from their bodies.These have stinging cells called nematocytes, which have tiny harpoons with venom.When they touch something the nematocytes build up pressure until they burst driving the harpoons and venom into the victim.Toxins vary from mild to deadly.

Good shot Erwin. These jellyfish certainly stand out in the aquarium. They do look very attractive, but their sting would not be very nice.
Well done - it isn't easy taking photos of anything in water through glass windows.
