More seriously, you present us a fine picture of that reptile. Its colours are amazing and it's a pleasure to realize how the patterns of the tree are similar to the one of the animal. By the way, this diagonal composition is fine, is well highlighted by the blurred background and this adds to the value of the picture.

Hi Annick,

I can at least figure out some of the Dutch. This is a "bloukopkoggelmander" in Afrikaans and they usually dissapear as soon as one picks up a camera. I have a couple in my garden as well.
Well seen with good detail and showing the colours especially the body colour which is so close to the tree colour.

Geen probleem dat je de informatie niet in het Engels kon vinden. :)

Dit is een erg mooie hagedis. De blauwe kop en staat zijn erg bijnzonder en vallen door de schutkleur en de rest van de foto erg op. De diagonale compositie en de zachte achtergrond maken de foto prachtig.

An absolutely gorgeous shot of this amazing lizard!
The diagonal composition works superbly here and i think it was the only way you could have integrated the entire lizard (with all the tail) into a frame :)
The fact that the head and tail tip are of such a vivid colors also adds to the composition and it's like everything interesting happens between "two blues" :)

Not a very good colour when you're trying to hide!! A great image of this beautiful Lizard up the tree. Great focus, fine details and beautiful colours. A lovely background too!
