[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am having big problems with my internet - BT have been working in my village and we keep losing both phones and internet - hence the short note and crits.

Anyway this is a scanned slide taken very close to the pictures of Adelies I have already posted. It is looking up into a smallish (for Antarctica) iceberg.

Hi James,
blue is the colour but not how I feel when I look at this photo.Elegant and simple and straight forward this photo of yours has impact. The area of the world where you are is not a place I would want to be but it is beautiful in it's way.Thank you for showing this one. Bob

Hi James,
very well seen, crisp and super clear shapes and light. Very well done.

Hi James,
Love the sculpted form and shapes in this almost "absract" offering..It has no sense of scale, so it leaves much to the imagination..and that's a good thing :)
I too have "weathered" (pardon the pun) interent problems recently, but seem to be on the other side of it now. I hope your internet improves soon,
Howard

Una estupenda presentación amigo James.
Maravillosos colores con unas tonalidades perfectamente saturadas.
Un gran trabajo.
Saludos, JL.

That is so artistic and beautiful! WOW!
Love the colors and shapes. Almost abstract..unusual...graceful and exotic to my Texas eyes...we don't see much ice around, nonetheless big ice like that! ha ha

Hi James,
yes I have been off for a while: quite a hectic period. But now I have finally time to scroll through the TN archives. Your latest upload is a very nice abstract picture, displaying very nice the great antarctic ice against the clear blue sky. Very nice picture!
Regards, Jacob

Hi James

Ahh...an abstract :D Something i've become very fond of recently! I love it!
The colors here are impressive and they really give that "cold" feeling very well.
The game of lights here - the bright parts and the bigger and smaller shades really make this an attractive shot and one with a very unique visual "intrigue". (i might not be saying this right...)
Bottem line: i like it!

Cheers and TFS

Good scan James, but an EXCELLENT image. Yhe colours are so pretty and the sharpness of the ledges, etc, have come out really well,

Sorry about BT - lets hope they finish the work soon.

Hi James,
Love the abstract touch to this stunner. The blue on blue is very interesting. Love the shapes and texture on the ice.
TFS,
Niek

P.S. thanks for the notice on your internet connection. I was already wondering when you would update your crits.

Hello James,
Great almost abstract composition, yet full of sun and quite dynamic despite the objects are still :-)
Best greetings from Poland!
