It was Christmas Eve, the penguins were in their colony on the hills. In the morning wind changed direction for SE bringing snow storm. Penguins were siting on their nests and snow covered them - some of them were invisible, coveded completly by snow, others were cover only partial.

Really a cool capture, I never really thought about penguins standing so long in one place that they would eventually get completely covered with snow. This is a reall fantastic image that shows some of the challenges penguins face. :)
