[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in Yankee Harbour in Antarctica. I came across two pairs of Weddell Seals and i was able to get so close without disturbing them.

Great pose richie (Warren asleep), nice depth with sharpness where needed. Really shows how thick the fur is.

Lovely image of this very relaxed seal.
Wonderful pose in wich it seems to be sleaping, but I'm sure he did see you very well and kept you in eye sight :)
Depth of field, sharpness and composition are excellent, but the image seems a little under exposed and Pirate did a wonderful job in his WS to clear up the whole image.
Nevertheless this is a beauty and great joy to look at.

Terrific sharpness in the face and there's a mood that's captured here as well: serenity. This seal does not fear you or (I think) it'd wake from it's slumber in a hurry. On some level animals are much more aware of their surrounds than humans - they need to be for survival. Nice job all around.

Welcome to TN. You have travel far for this captures? Great take with sharp focus on its face followed by the blur effects from the body.
