Hi Graeme
No wonder they are in a hurry to swim, witnessed a leopard seal years ago in the Falklands, not a friendly creature.
Wonderful capture.

Richard

Hello Graeme

What a delightful scene. You have managed the exposure well. Nice timing too. I feel it could do with a bit of sharpening. Have uploaded a workshop where I have tweaked it slightly. Hope you don't mind. :-)

Fun image nicely exposed and composed. Great POV and stop action.

You just have to love the way those three are watching the one dive in. I hope he wasn't a seal's lunch. I guess they have to choose between hunger or seals. Not an easy life. It's a great action shot.

Hello Graeme,
Good action photograph!
For some reason those fellows look so funny whatever they do...
Determined action and fine details, well composed presentation!
Greetings,

Hello Graeme,
This is a very funny and also nice documentary picture showing a typical behaviour of pinguins. I like this photo because of its "mobile style" - some penguins are waiting and one is jumping into the water.
On the other hand a little better depth of field would be nice, and the picture would be a little lighter :)
Best greetings,
Radomir

Hello Graeme,

This is a very good action shot of these beautiful penguins! I would have loved to see the leopard seals included in the composition! The composition is very good. You framed the subjects perfectly. The empty space was distributed wisely around them and you captured the very moment when the first penguin just split the water with its head. Good timing! I like the way you positioned the edge of the floating ice along the lower third of the picture. The only negative point of this posting is the lack of a more comprehensive note where you could tell us more about the penguins and the leopard seals. Great job on the picture though! TFS!

With Best Regards,
Eddie
