[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The term sea refers to certain large bodies of water, but there is inconsistency as to its precise definition and application. Most commonly, a sea may refer to a large expanse of saline water connected with an ocean, but it is also used sometimes of a large saline lake that lacks a natural outlet, e.g. the Caspian Sea. Colloquially, the term is used as a synonym for ocean. Additionally, large lakes, such as the Great Lakes, are occasionally referred to as inland seas.

The Southern Ocean, also known as the Great Southern Ocean, the Antarctic Ocean and the South Polar Ocean, comprises the southernmost waters of the World Ocean south of 60° S latitude. The International Hydrographic Organization has designated the Southern Ocean as an oceanic division encircling Antarctica. Geographers disagree on the Southern Ocean's northern boundary or even its existence (see below), sometimes considering the waters part of the South Pacific, South Atlantic, and Indian Oceans instead.

Bardzo ladny widok poprzez wode na te wzniesienia pokryte sniegiem.Bardzo ladne odbicie w wodzie ktora kolorem prawie ze do nieba pasuje.Przez to ze woda jest taka spokojna te zdjecie odpreza mnie calkowicie.Gratuluje Siggi

A wonderful capture of a calm sea and the icy landscape of the S. Shetlands, reflected by the sea in superb lighting. The Antarctic seems to have its quiet moments too!

You Antarctica landcapes are amazing, sooooo beautiful ! This seemsto come right out of a dream - I love the icy colors of blue and white, the composition, the reflection on the water, the pure blue sky. YOu are so lucky to have witnessed this ! I'm so jealous ! :-) Very well done !
