Early morning sun and this dude is on to get some food and solar energy.
I do not have any information about this species of rat except that they live at very high altitudes and feed on grass.
Any further information is very welcome...

Hi Hadi,
I'm really glad that you present good pictures from Afghanistan. This picture might not be your best (sharpness) but it was a snapshot and it has a good composition. The fellow peeking over the wall is a Pika, Ochotonasp. (Order Rodentia). There are (according to Wikipedia) at least two species occurring in Afghanistan, the Afghan pika, O. rufescens and the Steppe pika, O. pusilla .
