We call it 'chaaka' in the local language. It is some kind of a mountain cherry. Don't know what they call it but it is so tasty.

Hello again, Hadi
I found this picture very interesting. Good light, nice colours. Appetizing!
To find out what "Chaaka" is in scientific terms I first assumed it to be Prunus. Prunus avium would be the world-wide distributed Sweet cherry that did not originally grow wild in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan you find Prunus jacquemontii, the Afghan cherry. Now you have to help: do you know the flower colour of the plant? If it's rosy or red, it's P. jacquemontii. If it's white, it's probably P. avium or P. cerasium thes species may have been brought to Afghanistan.
