Painted Bronzeback Snake

Family : COLUBRIDAE
Species: Dendrelaphis pictus
Maximum Size : Over one metre

A juvenile of painted bronzeback snake just sneaking for food in tree branch. this is a quiet common and easy species to find everywhere around Brunei. I took it in Taseklama recreational park just next to Brunei down-town.
This quoted info was found when browsing the web:
"A widespread and common species, the Painted Bronzeback can be found in a variety of habitats including scrub, secondary forest, back-beach habitats as well as parks and gardens. It is active by day, searching for its food prey - mainly lizards and frogs.
Nervous in disposition, it will flee swiftly when threatened or disturbed.The species is identified by its bronze head, black eye-stripe and mask, and black and cream lateral stripes along the length of the body. When threatened it will inflate its body
slightly to reveal bluish or turquoise skin underlying the body scales.
The species ranges from southern China, through Indochina and Thailand, to Peninsular Malaysia, the larger islands of Indonesia and the Philippines."

Hi Erlangga.
Nice subject and great pose captured.
I like the 3D effect of all the elements in the shot.
I would have cropped tighter at the bottom and left to get some of the green leaves out of the photo, and get a bit more details on the snake.
It would be useful to know your equipment and parameters in the photos.

Hi Erlangga and sorry for the delay

This is a lovely portrait of this beautiful snake.
The moment you captured him in is also terrific - with that nice forked tongue flicking out :)
The details are great and sharp and the exposure is well managed, despite the very high natural contrast between the FG and the BG.
