| Araknofobia anybody? Hope not, because spiders like these were used as food during the cruel Pol Pot regime in Cambodia (and the whole world closed their eyes). Otherwise they had all starved to death. The spider was poisonous, but the poison is taken away. I saw a lot of its relatives fried, but did lot feel like tasting. Still Cambodia is a very poor country and there are almost no old people, because of the terror regime of the red khmers. But the people are very friendly and you feel welcome everywhere. I fell in love with this nice spider, it had fur on its long legs and was a bit shy. (Probably it knew it had no poison to defend itself with, any longer...) |

Really a terrifying one! No need to poison about the arachnophobia! i'm curious about the identification! Interesting notes also!
Thank you!

Hi Monica - good to see you again - and the new bangle you're wearing on your arm!!
And I see you are still travelling the world! Asia and Cambodia this time.
How are you and all the family?
Cheers
Janice
