“A Pale View of Hills”
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| “A Pale View of Hills” is the title of Kazuo Ishiguro’s first novel (his better known novel is “Remains of the Day”). The scene here is just that, taken in the early morning towards the east, from the Badaling section of China’s Great Wall, not far from Beijing. |

I love this because you did it so right and then again because you did it so right with a Nikon..I would have thought this a Canon image...but you make the Nikon imagers proud!

Hello Ishi,
A lovely glimpse of China showing the wonderful contours of a fascinating landscape. A beautiful morning capture with a fitting title. I haven't read this book but the 'Remains of the Day' was brilliant!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
A beautiful picture: reminder of Chinese Drawings.
The flow of mountain ranges - one after the other - a reminder of the millions of people living there.
The grey colour a reminder of their an anonymous existence.
Regards
Ingrid
