beautiful capture of

-- family: Papilionidae
The focus plane from this point of view and with respect that the butterfy wings are not fully opened is just right. Body, head, antennae and the right wings are sharp. More sharpness on the left wings would have been possible by selection of a smaller aperture which could have been realized jugded from the exposure time. Colours are natural.

Good image, John, except for the slight aberration pointed out by Peter.
It would be exciting to follow the lead given by Peter and re-compose a detailed note on the species.
