Tibet is green only if a river passes by. Little rain hits the plateau. Snow and melted glaciers give birth to the mighty rivers of Asia, from this barren desert landscape.

Hi Gloria,
Very impressive landscape!
I like the vast empty space displayed here, a clean composition with that snowy peaks at the back.
The diversity of the clouds formations adds even more interest to the picture.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

This is perfectly lovely! Nice capture of the barren ground in start contrast to the gorgeous (if a little cloudy) blue sky. Looks like it might be getting some rain soon!? Penny

Hi Didi,

The vastness of land and sky !!!
Fantastic !!!!
All the best, dear friend.

Hello Gloria,
Interesting to observe the lack of vegetation, probably beacause of combin ed altitude and draught!
However some of the clouds seem to holds rain...
A lovely view to the distant mountains!
Greetings,
