[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The road is very green in the beginning from the Nepal border to Lhasa in Tibet. Soon greenery will all disappear, to become mostly a barren landscape. Most of the flat Tibetan plateau is over 4000m high, and long stretches are over 5000m high. Mountain passes in the Himalayas range far higher.

again the wonderful region that you are covering! The lush landscape is surprising---4'000 m altitude as you say. Light ans shadows are interchanging in an interesting fashion. Thanks for showing the picture to us.
