[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Little rain usually falls in Tibet, a country controlled by China. It is a dry plateau, surrounded by some of the highest mountains on earth, including Mt. Everest. When the rain falls it is most welcome. Melted snow and glaciers provide water for life. The mighty rivers of Nepal, India and Bangladesh start in this most arid of landscapes.
