Wow, killer macro, Matthew. Amazing details, those hairs really show it of. I love the limited comlor pallate, and that wild green color. Good job with the dark bg, too.

Outstanding close-up shot of this grasshopper. Very neat and sharp image and lovely green colour all throughout. The focus and lighting are superb and you have captured a nice pose. Against the black BG the green subjects stand out elegantly. I like its gorgeous eyes. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kuods.

Your patience in slowly part away the grassess in front of the lens paid off greatly.
Fantastic sharp, clear and detailed shot of this most wonderful green and yellow colored grasshopper.
Perfect sharpness, lighting and composition.
Great pose of the grasshopper with it's front legs firmly around the grass and the next two legs spread out to hold him steady.
Excellent work and a great joy to look at.

The colors and details visible on your grasshopper are impressive. Excellent POV and to have the eye so prominent in your photo is excellent. Great job with the sharpness which shows perfectly on the antennas.

With no other insect could you do green on green so well. I am not sure if it is the clarity of the picture or lens or just your eye and whatever...but this is textbook stuff. No better could be done.
