Very nice image, all warm golds and browns. Good POV and nice interesting perch also. I think the white BG adds interest. As does the little hints of red. Well done.

This is an excellent super sharp capture of a dragonfly, of a species unknown to me, but the colouring suggests a female of the species. Great composition, lighting and OOF BG.

Hi Matthew,
This is what I call a perfect dragonfly image.
At first glance I thought the bigger white spot in the background does distract a little, but after a good second look it does'nt because the form of that spot is almost the same as the form of the dragonfly it's wings.
Great composition, lighting and sharpness.
Beautiful warm colors and soft wonderfully matching color tones in the background.
Excellent work.

A superb shot of this dragonfly. And he does seem to be smiling. The colors and the background are marvelous showing him off very well. The pose is wonderful and the details are razor sharp. Great compostion too.

Great smile :) but even more than that great light, POV and sharpness. The colour tones are very attractive here. The white flower doesn't disturb me as it is suitably blurred. It helps make the image more 3D
