Chinese alligator

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This Chinese aligator has colours and textures which blend in well with the surrounds.
Crocodiles are not the only crocodilians. There are also caiman, gavials, and of course alligators. These reptiles are found in over 90 countries including the marshy riverbeds of China's Yangtze River, home to the world's most endangered crocodilian, the Chinese alligator. |

Hello Murray,
I notice the pointed nose on this fellow, but I wuill guess there are sharp teeth inside!
The reptile is captured with fine details, and I see how nicely the colour match the surroundings...
A well composed presentation!

Hi Murray.
Awesome light coming through here and used beautifully for great exposure and colour.
Was this taken through glass, a slight fogging in the bottom left corner with slight condensation?
Wonderful sharpness and detail
