Hallo Chi
Absolute adorable!.The monkey looks very troubled or even shocked. Maybe it fell into the water and got the fright of its life, It even looks as if this little monkey has just had a bath and it waiting for somebody to blow dry its hair. All jokes aside. This image is well composed with very good detail, exposure and sharpness. The big olive coloured eyes and the way it is scratching it head tell a story of its own. I love the expression on its face and the position it is sitting in. The soft green background brings out your subject in a powerful way. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna

The posture and expression are so strikingly human in this picture, Chi.
What a wonderful capture, especially of the eyes!
Your work always leaves me amazed at your extraordinary gifts as a nature photographer.
Best regards,
Ram

Hola Chi.
Saludos

Hi Chi,
Outstanding shot of this Rhesus Monkey and you have captured it in a great pose. Why is it scratching its head??? Fabulous eye contact with sharp details on its fur and lovely warm lighting and colours. Excellent DOF isolates it from the smooth BG and a well chosen POV to portray it. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hi Chi

Some biologists would want us to believe that this is a distant cousin, but I maintain it's maybe a cousin of theirs and definitively not one of mine. If they want to believe that junk they probably deserve to have a monkey as a great-great- grand-parent. However, looking at this guy one might think that it might be busy pondering that very same question or is it just trying to imitate "The great thinker"? Something like "monkey see – monkey do".

Big eyed and full of inquisitiveness this guy seemed to take notice of your every move. But at the same time he also had to watch out where he sat, because I am certain it wouldn't have been too much of a joke of one of those nails gave him a jab in the more sensitive parts of his anatomy.

A lovely capture Chi, with beautiful eye contact (and not to forget those amazing pin sized highlights), nice sharp details, natural colours, and a well OOF and isolated BG that makes the subject stand out brilliantly in the shot.

Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot
