[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear all,

I'm having an ultra-short 2-week summer school holiday - and that's why I can make photo-taking trips for three consecutive days : ) so, here I am, just back from another trip.

unlike the previous two sunny days, today is a rainy day. I tried to wait for the rains to stop (while reading the medical textbook during the waiting period), but the rains just kept on falling...so, after 1.5 hours, I gave up waiting - instead, I went to the rains under my umbrella - and here is what I've got from the rains : )

I hope you'd like this petal-less lotus. I hope you can feel the freshness from this photo, too : )

Have a nice day!!

Cheers,
Man Yee

Hi Man Yee,
It really does look like an artists palette. Pity about the weather. I would have liked to see this photo taken at F8 - f11 or so to give more depth of field with some sun to make the water droplets sparkle and more detail in the lower half. Well seen but I think the lighting conditions were too difficult.

Hello Man Yee,
What a beautiful subject you discovered! What a shame it didn't clear up then this would have been perfect! You'll have to return here again to the same subject as it is very nice, only rather dark and soft here but a fine composition.
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Witaj MY Wong,
artistic picture, pretty colours and lightly blurred painting.
Lotus looks really how painter's palette, and drops how squeezed out paint.
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour Man Yee,
C'est bien vu mais la restitution, à cause d'un manque de profondeur de champ, ne me semble pas aussi bonne que la miniature pourrait le laisser envisager.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hello Man Yee,

This is a very different image from what I have seen till now. Your subject is special and the way you took the photo makes it more interesting. I like the light of your photo as well as color tones rendering. The green of the main subject against the deep color of the background looks great to me.

Congratulations,
Cristian

Merhaba Man Yee,cok hoş bir kare olmuş.Damlalar da kendi aralarında sanki bir kompozisyon oluşturmuş gibi.Ellerine sağlık,selamlar :)

Hi MY Wong,

Wonderful composition, I like a lot this picture. Original ideea. The zone of focus (deepness of focus) is a little too smal, but is a god photo.

All the best, Cezar T.

Hello Man Yee,
your attempt did't go waste and you've got good result under your 'umbrella'. I like the shades in water droplets and OOF BG.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Hi Man Yee,
Like some other comments, The DOF is to short and make difficult to "read" the photo. But a like the black background and the originality of the subject.

Beautiful macro. The colors are rich, and the focus on the water droplets is excellent. I like the lighting in this shot as well, a good balance of dark and light. I could almost bite into this lotus -- it reminds me of a kiwi fruit!

Thanks for sharing.
