The Dragonfly: type of insect belonging to the order Odonata of the suborder Epiprocta or the infraorder Anisoptera. Photo taken in Lijiang City, China.

We had stopped for dinner and this friend decided to join us. He is seated on a standard Chinese roof tile. We are on the second floor and the roof extends from the first floor beside us.

Hi David, this picture attracted my eye immediately. It is superb, very artistic and well shot at the same time. I love the shallow dof yet seeing the texture of the roof tile. The colours are superb also, it is very esthetic. Thank you!
