This photo of a pair of mating moths (I don't know the name) was taken on Saturday during a tour to the Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve in Hong Kong.

A good macro-study in perfect composition Man Yee, not very easy to expose correctly light coloured subjects on dark backdrops, but you've succeeded grandly my friend, perfect detail indeed in those light parts. You've also created a blurry BG by choosing a shallow DOF - Good job!

Hello Man Yee!

Very stylish moths. I like diagonal composition and delicate colours. Two faults in my oppinion - light twig in BG and too much noise. Try to use noise removing software like Neat Image. Rest is very good. Thank you for link to another great place!

Your work, like you is amazing. When you stop to think about it, photography and your abilities as a doctor fit well together; you see so much of life, death, new fading to old, young growing older, and so much change in both environments - what an amazing aspect to have so much in common and to be talented at both.

Believe it or not, my own doctor is a photographer and I think I understand why, now. You're talented in so many ways - this is a beautiful capture with a title that can have a variety of meanings. The details, colors, and depth of field are fantastic - as are your notes.
