| This mountain be call Paekdusan in North Korea, and be call Changbai Mountain in China. The Changbai Mountain is a mountain on the ChineseNorth Korean border. An extinct volcano with a vast crater lake at its centre, it is the country's highest mountain at 2744m (9000ft), and also of huge mythical importance to Koreans. The huge crater lake called Chonji ("Lake of Heaven") lies at the summit, surrounded by bare rocky crags. It is one of the deepest alpine lakes in the world。 |

This looks like a vast wild area. Your note is interesting. I personally find the frame a bit distracting in that my eye keeps going to the lower two corners where the contrast is the greatest. It also cuts off the lake leaving only a sliver at the bottom. I think perhaps more lake and a little less sky may have been effective. As it is the image is cut almost in half between land and sky. A one third/two third ratio may be something to try.
