I am no anthropologist, so if anyone know what this little ducky is please tell me. There is a big park with a nice bird aviary not far from the financial district on Hong Kong island. This particular suspect did nothing for about 20 minutes, while 100s of school children took his picture.
I accidently forgot to take my wide angle lens off my camera, and once the zoom is used it really distorts the edge of the picture. I tried to straighten it out as much as I could. |

Hi Paul,
It might take an "ornithologist"! It is some kind of Ducula (Imperial-Pigeon). I will try and figure it out when I have more time.
Edit: This is an adult Ducula pinon pinon (Pinon's Imperial-Pigeon).
