Hi John,
Beautiful, nice refreshening composition ! And the bugs are really splendid. Excellent details in your razorsharp picture. They seem really big to become that impressive with your 18-50mm ! As you used flashlight there is no need to go that high in speed. 1/100 sec would have been enough to freeze any motion, and than the background may have become lighter, more colourful, hightlighting even more the details of these insects.
