12 years ago I had the oportunity to cross Asia from the east coast of China to Odesa.
In the sandy desert of west China I have found this little agama, standing high above the ground, stretching his legs to avoid the sand's heat. It was a rare meeting with a living creacher under 45 celsius...whene I came closer with my jeep- it posed an agressive display, trying to scare me.
This photo was taken with my old Nikon F 90 +
70-200 mm lens.

A great impact shot of a small aminals in the wilderness.

Interesting picture. But the agama is "melted" around the rest of the pictyre. The grainy ground which is taking an overwhelmy part of the picture does not help.

I love this shot, but it is difficult to see the detail of the Agama. I had no idea really that a desert like this exhists in China.

I like the way this scene shows how small the agame is and at the same time he is trying to scare away your Jeep. Brave little critter.

Very good composition, but the Agama is fading with the BG.

The large desert background shows well how small some of these creatures really are, good composition.

lucky u to cross the desert ! .. wonderful image .. I want to see more of those dunes ! :)

I love the little agamas agression! so cute. Very nice picture though, fantastic backdrop. well done.
