Hi Pankaj,
This is a wonderful picture of a lovely butterfly. The colors and sharpness is perfect. The POV is excellent as it shows full wings open.
Very sad to know that your post have been removed for CR purpose. I think you should put your side with strong facts of proof. May be you are saying that someone has a patent of that particular butterfly and they are preventing you to post that picture. If it is that, then it is really a serious matter.
Anyway keep posting beautiful pictures.

Thank you for this beautiful Pansy image with dedication.
So much is excellent about this..POV openwing, color, composition, framing, mostly excellent focus details.
Because you ask for "negatives" the only thing I see could be improved would be just a tad more DOF to focus the top wing edges and top of antennae. Seems minor considering the beauty of the image.
Sorry to hear of the CR issue. Not fun. Hope you can resolve it.

great dedication to TN's spirit.
The photo is wonderful.
+++ Beautiful colours that are vibrent and well saturated... those eye-spots are so striking (I suppose that is what they are meant to do!)
Great composition and POV that draws the viewer's eyes towards the eye-spots.
Very sharp and detailed.
--- DOF is slightly too shallow and causes the head, antenna and wing-tips to be OOF. A higher f stop such as f/22 would have been better.
Otherwise this photo is perfect :)

Well the only one who is going to learn technical aspects of this image is me..and perhaps a few others...hard to be critical of something so perfect. I respectfully request the right to say, there is nothing wrong technically with this picture...at all. Any other correction would be totally subjective on the part of the one who questions...

I like pictured specimen so much It is simply superb. Composition and POV are the best. Great colorfulness, exactness of the shapes and details. The lighting and colours of the BG are delicate at highest range. MY compliments and TFS.

No wonder this is one of your favorites images of this beautiful peacock pansy butterfly - it's gorgeous!
I really love the pose in which you captured it and the terrific composition you managed to create.
The flash is also well used and brings just enough light for the body and head. However, since you've asked for total honesty in your note, the tips of the wings are a bit blurry; now this mught be from the DOF or from the small movement of the wings and the use of flash (which would tend to make this movement more evident). I can't really pin-point why.
But still, it's a minor element in otherwise a splendid shot!

Hi Pankaji. I am glad to see you have sorted out the problem with your picture.
This posting of the Pansy butterfly is as good as it gets. the detail is spot on with fine colours. you have captured the markings so well. with a nice POV/DOF. with good notes too.

Great contrast: vivid red vs grey. Nice OOF background. The DOF is little bit to shallow. Also great "eye contact" :-) Very nice dedication. Interesting thing with removed photo. What kind of information did you use in your note?

Perfect color and exposure, well composed.
In the "spirit of TN" :), The point of focus could be improved, but overall a very beautiful image here. At F/14, you needed to get more parallel to the b-flie's open wing pose, or increase the DOF from this POV..IMHO ;}

Hi Pankaj, you know all of your Butterfly and other shots are of the highest standard. All beautifully composed, so much so you should make a book. What a wonderful dedication to all on TN - this beautiful specimen! Lovley pov and colours, light and markings are striking, perfect composition.
I am shocked to hear one of your shot got taken down - how can that be? If you took the shot then you have the copyright, I am sure we all would like to know the problem and maybe help!
Sometimes mistakes are made on these matters.

Anyhow this Peacock Pansy is a fine work.

Pankaj, you have lovely colors and contrasts here -- vivid and delicate beauty. I can easily understand why this is a personal favorite of yours. You have great clarity and etail in this image, quite good DOF with that aperture, though just a tad soft on the upper left, and really nice use of cropping and the flower the accent your composition. Well done.
