This is a great photo and India is a great country. I hope you had a warm and enjoyable celibration. I live now in China, but have stayed some in India. I would be honored now to take a better photo trek to India and explore her with camera in hand. Nice Butterfly!

Happy Independence day! I read somewhere yesterday that "Independence is a feeling of controlling one's own destiny" and that's what our leaders have fought for! and its a wonderful dedication to them.
Coping to the picture its a very good picture with wonderful lighting, the use of flash has worked wonders here on the colors.

Oh, Pankaj, this is a wonderful shot!
The colours and patterns on the the opened wings are perfectly sharp and detailed.
The butterfly shows up very well against the contrasting, dark b/g.
I applaud your composition! Everything is in the right place in the frame and the whole is well presented.

Outstanding shot of this very beautiful Peacock Pansy and you have captured it in a fantastic pose. Great colours and details and against the black BG it really stands out well with the lantanas. Incredible control of light, focus and DOF and the dedication is so well made. Thanks for sharing.
