Your parents certainly will love it, it's a very beautiful picture and a delicate dedication. The almost uniform background highlights the rich details of the main subject at best and the contrast of the colours creates a great impact.

Your parents did a good deed when they gave you a camera. They have invested in your enjoyment which in turn has delighted many people, especially here on TN.
This is a fine shot of a grasshopper well presented and illuminated against the OOF redish brown BG in a superb simple composition: a nice dedication to your parents, the kind of dedication I like on TN as they are not directly (only indirectly) involved.

Looking at this image reminds me of the song “Hold on tight to your dreams” by ELO. And that is exactly what you did when you started with photography as a hobby. I also want to salute your parents Dr. R.K. Bajpai & Mrs. Jayanti Bajpai, for standing by you, encouraging you and raising a fine young man like I have learnt to know you. I think it is a lovely dedication and your parents surely are very proud of you. You have captured this slender hopper with great detail and clarity. Just love the TV antennas, and big eyes. This image pleasantly displayed, it has a soft touch to it. Thanks for sharing.

this shot is beautiful and I love the idea to dedicate it to your parents. This asian hoppers look so different to our European.
The head at ours is round, this one is horny.
I have captured such a one in Thailand and I think they realy look very pretty and special.
