These days we are feeling the heat of the summer to the limit. The temprature in day time goes as high as 45 degree and it is expected to cross 46 degree in next 24 hours. The weather will be like this for next one month or so.

I am waiting for the monsoon clouds to come so that i may pickup my gear and start doing some landscapes. The clouds on blue sky have attracted me since my childhood dyas. I still remember looking at the beautiful sky and admiring the beauty of nature.

I took this picture from the archive. The shot has been taken handheld with Nikon D 80 alongwith Sigma 10-20 wide angle lens with Sigma Circular Polariser .

Thanks a lot for writing critiques/ comments on my last post.

The countryside around Raipur is so very charming, especially during rainy season, Pankaj.
This is a captivating landscape in which the earth and the sky complement each other. The clouds in the sky are dramatic is shapes and colours and are beautifully reflected in the placid water. The greenery of the earth is very refreshing.
As whole, it is a wonderful composition that soothes the eyes and the mind.

Hi Pankaj.
I missed few your amazing shots and I am afflicted by it. Your last landscape picture is amazing. I like pictured place a lot. I like excellent quality of the image too. Selected POV and framing of the scene are brilliant as well as crisp sharpness of the scene, clean colours and transparency of the image. Cloudy sky, rich vegetation and mirror of river surface are reproduced fantastically. Bravo. Perfect job.
Alexei.

No sign of the heat in this shot Pankaj!
The combination of calm water, the greenery of the bushes and trees, the wondeful pattern of clouds in the sky remind me of a fine summers day in my country. A wonderful well composed landscape taken from a great POV.
Thanks for sharing it,
Best regards,
Ivan

Hi Pankaj,

An exceptionally beautiful scene from your archives. The water surrounded by the beautiful landscape, the glorious sky with the wonderful clouds are all a feast for the eyes. The reflections of the clouds in the water is magnificent. If I converted correctly your temps are hovering around 120F. That's even hotter than it gets here - must be unbearable. By July we will be waiting for the monsoon clouds to come too. And for the rains.

Hello Pankaj,
You are doing well as a lanscape-photographer! Most beautiful and fine shot! Composition, natural colors, subtle sharpness and subject, all perfect. I just wouldn't be there with 45°, I couldn't bear that.
Bravo
Kind regards

Hello Pankaj,
Very beautiful landscape in amazing clear colours. This can be a place in Holland, but with temperatures over 45 degree...
Excellent sharpness, composition and POV. The reflection of the clouds in the water is great.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Pankaj,
A beautifully taken shot of this tranquil scene.
I'm curious as to whether most of the vegetation we see is native to India.
There are some white plumes that look very similar to the South American pampas grass that has become a pest here.
We do have a similar native called Toe Toe but that is not so white and fluffy, and it droops more.
Anyway,a wonderful shot.
