Perfect focus and remarkably vibrant and soft coloured butterfly. The patterns of the butterfly’s markings are very striking. Technically this shot has all the merits to meet a high criterion. Thanks for sharing this beautiful bird with us. Interesting flower or fruit the butterfly is resting on. It was a pleasure and delight to look at.

Very nice picture of Dark Grass Blue. Good use of flash that produces a sharp and crisp image. Dark background isolated the butterfly well. Perfect pov and composition.

Hi Pankaj!

I like this picture for the color tones very much, and the blurred background adds to the effect. In opposite to your former and usual postings, I have the feeling that the sharpness is not as perfect as you used us to. The depth of field seems to be quite limited, although you took the picture at f 22. Is it just a personal and subjective feeling? I must admit that I don't look at it at home, I'm in front of another screen...

I feel as though we are coming full circle..and in 2 more months it will be indeed my 1st anniversary on TN....I remember well that this and some by Sumon were among the first dramatically good butterfly images I saw...and I like the fact they you and your images are still here...as if cornerstones of the natural world...Very nicely done Pankaj!
