Hi Pankaj,
it's nice to hear you have been trying something new. I hope you enjoy indulging in Landscapes as much as i do. Time to invest in a whole new set of filters!
A very nice classic sunset here with the sillouetted trees framing the dying sun perfectly. I might have been tempted to clone out the electricity pylon in the bottom right corner but that's no criticism, just personal taste. Look forward to some more from you!

Hi neighbor! Well two landscapes in a row in Gallery. How much fun is that? Very beautiful...but considering the expert behind the camera and the good quality Nikon gear. You certainly know or have learned how to frame you landscapes well and doing it in vertical gets you extra credit. Vertical is hard to do yet you seem to have it down very well..I am glad your back!

Another interesting subject in your galler. I hope that we will see more great landscapes from you. Very nice compo beautiful sillouettes of trees and good exposure. You are a macro specialist but also very universal photographer - great macros, great landscapes ;-)

Superb landscape. Very nice composition with this tree on the left. Beautiful colours of the sky. I would have tried to crop the picture to remove the pylon too.

for someone who is new at landscapes this is danged good, love this shot, nice clouds and I like how you got the tree in silhouette and on the side, I would clone out the electric tower though, those things are soooo ugly

You are a fast learner - this is a beautiful sunset. I love all of it - the large tree framing the picture, the silhouettes of the trees, the beautiful orange colored sky with the marvelous clouds and above them the still blue sky. Wonderful colors and a superb composition.

Congratulations for trying something new. I think it's important for our motivation. And a sunset is always a welcome subject! We probably all have made some.

Yours is quite classic, yet very pleasant. As a crtique I would mention the pylon as a disturbing element and from the point of view of the composition I personally would not chose such a high and imposing tree on the left. I believe it attracts the eye a bit too much. You could "cheat" a bit and flip the picture horizontally...

These critiques to not diminish the value of the very pleasant and peaceful picture.

Sunsets and sunrises are themes dear to those with a streak of poet in them, Pankaj.
Your landscape image is really well captured. The one-third bottom portion in silhouette is the perfect example of ideal matrix for such photography. The remaining view of the sky with a range of beautiful cloud shapes and colours is immensely charming.

This is an excellent start on your new venture! Lovely sunset in beautiful colours. I like the silhouette of the tall tree and the colours, light effect and cloud formations are beautiful. I too would have removed the pylon but it's often hard to avoid signs of human activities! Well done!

I love this kind of pictures with sundown, the colors are gorgeous, so many different shades of red and yellow. The black silhouette of the tree against the sky looks great, too. Spendid composition and POV. Very well done !
