Hallo Pankaj
What a dainty and fine little bird this is. The combination of colours of this bird’s feathers is well harmonized and the detail is good. I had never seen this little bird before and I am in admiration, of its beauty and how small it looks. You captured it with great sharpness and beautiful light. All the details of its feathers, its colour, everything is really great. The blurred out background but in focus foreground is super and highlights lots of the details. The pollen covered beak is a bonus and rounds the image of well. Thanks for sharing and have an enjoyable day.

Hi Pankaj.
I am impressed with beautifulness and delicateness of the picture. First of all subject is amazing as well as diagonal composition. Second is terrific colours and tones of the image and wonderful soft lighting. Charming bird is also reproduced fantastically. Its surroundings are superb as well as the reproduction of all their features (I mean nice flowers, leaves and twigs). Bravo and my best wishes.

Well irregularity is a part of my life now Pankaj, although not in the same vein:-) It comes with old age. for you to be irregular due to work means that you are still young, strong and well suited to do many tasks....alas I am not. this is just fine..I sort of like the way the two small black pieces of bush are black in the background..It is almost as a signature of some alien...very nicely seen..

Nice to see a post from you - and it's a bird! Beautiful little thing and you captured him very well. The way they dart around they are difficult ot catch. Colors are wonderful. Excellent details of the face, wings and plummage. Lovely diagonal composition with the pretty flowers and leaves.

I just love how you have positioned the bird on a downhill diagonal.
The details of its feathers and features are excellent.

Pankaj, if this is your first bird shot, then congratulations!
This cute little bird looks beautiful, especially with that flowery branch for a perch.
I thought you had used fill flash until I looked at your exif data.
With your 70-300mm, I am sure you would give birds further tries.

I know what you are talking about when you say bird photography is difficult. I also have tried, and the results were not worth to be posted on TN!

But I believe that this try is quite valuable. From the technical point of view, everything looks ok, and the overall expression of the picture is pleasant.

Sorry for having been irregular (I ain't doin a la Sabby (shal)!)My comp's given up on me , and I've been travellin'.
As Anna says, a very dainty bird.This must've been quite a difficult shot, 'coz I know these little things are such busy little bodies (literally) they're very rarely still.

Great that you venture into bird photography and what a fine shot!
Excellent sharpness, pose, POV and composition.
This is a female sunbird. Many sunbird species have similar-looking females but the light eye-brow stipe suggests a Purple Sunbird.

I wouldn't call this average at all - it is a lovely capture of the little Sunbird with great focus on the eye and fine details. The light is beautiful and so are the colours. I love the flowers too and the light background that sets it off! Well done!!

I wonder why do you worry about bird shooting skills, 'coz you have worked up a real beauty in this capture. A fantatsic capture with lovely details.

I know for sure these are not quite easy to catch as they tend to flit about the branches of the tree. And if they notice the slightest movement they will flip away. And you Pankaj has managed quite fine here.The details are wonderful with a great pose, colours and lighting in this close shot.

What a beautiful specie this is! It is one of the most beautiful birds I have seen! I like this composition and flourished environment a lot. Details could have been a little sharper on it head and I guess it comes from this slow shutter speed. Anyway, this is a very nice capture and yes, birds are difficult to photograph! Thanks,
