It was worth spoiling your shirt for this magnificent shot, Pankaj.
Congratulations on completing three years on TN! I still remember your first Water Lily image.
You have come a long way to turn almost professional in your nature photography. It is a pity our busy schedule of work is keeping us off TN -- a place where we were very active at one point of time.
Nevertheless, it is heartening to note that you too post an occasional picture. I've got the hang of my new work now, so I might pick up my dusty and rusty camera one of these days and head towards Okhla in search of bugs and butterflies. The snag is that my working hours 6 days a week are from 10 to 6!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture that suits the occasion of your 3rd anniversary on TN like the proverbial glove.

Time surely fly! 3 Years went by so quickly, as I remember always looking at your images even before I was a member of Trek Nature. A splendid capture of a most beautiful butterfly, with good detail and great colours. The markings and patterns are displayed well and is clearly seen. This specific butterfly reminds me of spring and happy care-free days. Good sharpness, focus and viewpoint, making this an excellent close-up shot. Congratulations Pankaj!
You joined TN not long after I did and now I can congratulate you on completing three years and thank you for your fine contributions, especially of Indian Butterflies.
This is an excellent shot to mark the occasion. The low POV shows this P. demoleus mud-puddling in a great way against a fine contrasting bg and the sharpness and lighting are top class.
