[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is not easy to catch a restless tiger - specially in low light and at 200mm. The predator was large and battle worn as you can see from the scar on his face. Very graceful and very dignified.
What recently has happened in San Francisco is just a reminder that under the deceptive calm and grace there is a killer machine - perfected for hunting and mauling. I believe there was another case in Kolkatta zoo where an enthusiastic photographer stuck his camera too deep in the tiger cage and paid with his life.
