Hi Sumon,
Wonderful to see that proboscis raise up high. I had the same experience this morning, with my shorts and into thick vegetation area, mosquitoes was all over me. Beautiful image and tfs.

Hi Sumon,
A very nice shot on this Skipper under difficult conditions. These little guys require much more work to get good shots on them than the big showy butterflies. Excllent colors and sharp detail here. I really like the way he has his probocis.

You certainly caught this one at the right moment with its proboscis nicely extended. A great shot of this beautiful Skipper showing sharp details of its wing markings. I like seeing it on the white flower too. A lovely composition!

I really like the curly shape to him. A pretty insect. Makes me wonder why are some created pretty and others not. A philosophical question I suppose. Also one that we may not find an answer to in this life. Very nicely done, as per your usual.

Hello Sumon,
Superb shot of a Skipper that is not the same species as the European Grizzled Skipper. The curled proboscis in relation to the flower is amazing and well caught despite the poor light conditions.
I guess it can be a species of Gerosis.

Nice take, i think the green tone is a bit overpower throughout the whole capture. Nice focus too.

Hello Sumon,
a very nice view of this 'lasso throwing' butterfly. The fine wing pattern is presented in plaesant natural colours. The butterfly's environment is well represented by the background. The blurred structures and the colours add to the attractivity of the picture.

Hi Sumon Da,
I have only seen this one with eyes before. It doesn't looks like a grizzled skipper because the species I saw was much more larger than a grizzled skipper. An more over the grizzled skippers prefer to dwell in open space. I also saw it in a place where the light was quite low with thick bushes. I also don't found any info about this. Lovely details and excellent composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Even if the light was not the best, the position of the skipper and its funny curled proboscis makes the picture. This butterfly seems to be a rarity, it would be nice to find out its ID. It's a very beautiful butterfly and it did choose a very fine flower to land. Very interesting posting
