Great capture of this scarlet skimmer, we have similar species here.
Maybe just a bit too saturated, but apart from that is has great sharpness and DOF.

Crimson is an apt name for the colour. And sharp is the word for the image! I enjoy, as usual, gazing on all of your professional quality work. The diagonal and the composition are especially good here Sumon. That Sony and your eye are still making good quality photographs..perhaps taking some time off helped you concentrate a bit better...

A really fine capture of a male Scarlet Skimmer with great focusing to make max use of the low aperture as most of it is razor sharp. The POV and composition against the OOF natural BG are first class.

Yes, of course, I like very much this picture :-)

You did a great composition and f/4 seems to be sufficient to have the whole almost in focus... I like the sharpness of the veins within the wings and the blurred bg! The colors is wonderful and the scarlet is so scarlet :-)

What a nice specie, so colorful! You managed an excellent composition with super details and lightning. I would have been curious seeing the same picture at F8 for example just to see if all wings could be as sharp compare one to another but this is nitpicking :) I never managed to catch a Dragonfly in my life so far so, I haven’t many advices to give… It looks like a little ballerina; this is beautiful!

Excellent macro shot of this cherry red skimmer. Wonderful and sharp details. I don’t know if I am wrong but it seems as if this skimmer went through a spider web judging at the threads still sticking to one of the wings. I like the yellow spots on the body. It looks as if this skimmer was polished and groomed for the photographic session. A perfect picture pretty photo. Thanks for sharing. It was lovely to look at.
