i haven;t a clue whats going on here, but it looks like the Ants are definitely enjoying themselves ;o)
The bright light has allowed you to get some excellent detail and a good sharp focus. Colours are very nice too, well done!

It is for sure an original shot. Very funny the way these Weaver ants embrace, may be its rather an agressive behaviour..
Thanks also for your very instructive note. I always notice that ants are most interesting insects and it is fascinating to observe them in nature

Ants are not kind of embrasing eachother. Like Anel I would also think in first thisis a fight.
Very unusual and interesting
Technically perfect shot. Uncentering the ants to the bottom right would have been even beter thought.

Now that is another classic...I like the way you get in close and sharp....I am starting to think that larger bulky DSLR's are not so important..I have better blood flow to my brain now at least...no more lugging heavy things around my neck...very fine image Sumon..I shall add to the classics..

Excellent capture of these three ants. A difficult picture and you succeded very well, difficult to do better I think. Great sharpness. Very good composition. Excellent light and well saturated colours.

Hi Sumon,

You captured the action wonderfully. Doesn't look like an embrace to me - looks more like a battle. At any rate they are certainly wrapped up in one another. Colors and details are great! Very unique and an excellent display of the behavior of these ants.

Entangled they certainy are, Sumon. My, what a pile!
The formation reminds me of abstract sculpture in gold.
The eyes of the three ants are well-aligned and emanate a sense of ecstasy being experienced through the passionate triple embrace.
A truly fun picture but very strong technically.
You under-rate your magic camera.

I do have a similar situation recorded and satshed away in my archives and been wondering what the hell was happening then...now i know there are more people who have noticed this kind of "triple sundae" mood among these ants:0)

You are right, this is unique picture. Af first view I elieved that this ants are fighting.
Very good DOF and sharpness, what was not easy to keep for so small objects. I like also that you provide us Latin name of genus for these creatures. It is always nice to know what we are looking at :)
