What colours! A great dedication to Ram Thakur. The picture is very original due to the opposite position of the moths and their different size. The vertical point of view adds to the special effect. The little lack of sharpness is well compensated by the overall atmosphere and impressions of that picture.

I am humbled by your dedication of this stand-alone nature image of two mating moths that defy the reason as far as the colours on moths are concerned, Sumon. A big 'Thank You'!!
First thing, this picture goes to my top favourites.
Both the male and the female have similar brilliant colours on them. This fact too defies the normal.
You are being modest in your self-assessment; this is one of the finest shots I have ever seen in terms of technology of digital photography.
Kudos to you for bringing to our notice this fantastic species of moths.

Hi Sumon,
At first sight it seems like a smaller reflection of the bigger moth. I completely agree with Ram here on the fact that this photo defies the theory behind the colors on moths. They are much beautiful than a lot of butterflies I must say... not in shape though but only in color.
Excellent shot with nice and bright colors and absolutely perfect details and BG.

Very nice lighting as well.
Lacks a bit of sharpness, a touch of flash would have given you a higher shutter speed. It must have been so exasperating waiting all that time only for them to fly away! I can feel your frustration!
