If they're like the swallowtail b-fly, they rarely slow down..Sounds like this guy gave you a run for the money ;}

Hi Sumon

Good early morning catch, but even then the light looks harsh..lol, the frustrations of photography. We have a similar species here near Sydney, G. macleayanus. I have seen them many times but only have poor shots, they never stay still, you were lucky.

The green on the butterfly's wings matches with the nature's green to perfection in this excellent shot, Sumon.
I know how difficult it is to get this species sit still. Even while it is settled, it keeps on shaking its wings. You have got it in perfect sharpness. The colours are very pleasant to look at.

Hi Sumon!

It looks as if the wings of the butterfly would have little holes that let the green grass shine through! It's a surprising and well composed picture that captures the spectators interest. And, as usually, so well accompanied by interesting and instructive notes.

I can see where you would have difficulty....at least I would...the greens in the background give this image a real job for the eye brain connection. It almost demands that you look at it:-)! Despite all your complaints Sumon, you have provided us yet again with an excellent shot. This is a beautiful butterfly. I've never seen colouring like this on a butterfly. The browns and greens, do they serve as a camouflage? The crop is good, with good position, detail is sharp and colours on the butterfly are excellent. I also like this depth of field where you show excellent focus on the butterfly, while still providing a muted display of the background.

This on almost looks like it has holes in it's wings. Excellent shot!! Great colors, details and POV. If this is the result even after you didn't have a clear view, I would say this is excellent work.

I really was surprised after the thumbnail it's not transparent but has exactly the same color spots as the bg!
