This is a wonderful picture, first because the butterfly in itself is gorgeous, I love the shape of its wings, but also because he is nice and sharp whereas the BG is blurred - great 3D effect, he stands out wonderfully. I also like the contrast between green and orange. It's really pleasant for the eye. Very well done !

It is surreal in the way if works so well with depth of field here HP! The focal point is tack sharp while it gets a pop out 3D look with backdrop off as should be and almost unnecessary. Very good!

Hello HP,

What an impressive capture of the Common Castor. I have not had a chance to shoot this beautiful butterfly although we have crossed paths several times.

The compsoition is rich with well saturated colours and the contrast is a very conventional yet appreciated combination of rich green of the environment and the brown of the subject itself.The detials are excellently picked up with very good sharpness and clarity.I like the daigonal PoV and the excellent DoF that makes the butterfly look suspended in the space above the greens.Imagine such a neat macro coming off your P&S.Quite an enjoyable compositon to look at.My compliments.
